Hi guys. Already introduced myself in the new members area. Long story short, bought a beautiful C6 A6 Allroad 3.0 TDi with a multi-tronic gearbox. It's a pleasure to drive. I come from a 530d M Sport and cannot emphasise how much I like to be sat in this soft cruiser.

It has a few minor issues, which I already think I can resolve by researching on this forum:

    1. front far left sensor isn't ticking and this front sensors aren't working because if one fails then the whole unit stops working.

Solution: will buy a new 1x sensor and try to fit it myself. I really don't want to get the front bumper off.

    2. Rear left outer lights not working (those little LED lamps).

Solution: I will check the wiring contacts, however heard these are sealed and if fails I need to buy a new cluster.

Welcome, good choice same as mine.

removing the front bumper is actually a lot easier than it seems, loads of tutorials on you tube.

rear clusters are prone to poor contacts from moisture.

Thanks for the tip. I'm a bit of a DIY guy so will attempt to fix all of these myself.

For the DIY'er it would be wise to invest in a VCDS diagnostic tool for these cars. What year and how many miles does it have? BTW - I think you have the Tiptronic (not multitronic) gearbox.

I have an Autel VAG505 and can reset the Service light, rewind the rear brakes, check all the systems and its pretty good for £100

But it cant do anything for a DPF and you might need a newer model
    VW POLO 2002 1.2 12v , Audi A6 2006 2.0 TDi SE , Skoda Fabia 1.4 TDi

All 3 cars in the current fleet
