    Noticed this the other day
It was in the car wash about a week previously but I reckon I'd have noticed it then. There is a one on the other corner as well. I can lift more lacquer off with my fingernail which suggests the bond to the metallic base coat has failed. I'm still under the main dealer warranty so will try my luck arguing it's a manufacturing defect - I can but try....
Full roof respray looks like the only option esp to stop it spreading but if it is paint failure it could start to appear in other areas.

I had this on my 2012 C7 Bonnet, dealer said it was down to a stone chip. I asked a couple of independent sprayers including my brother and all said it was the lacquer and paint hadn't adhered properly, was told bad temps or bad mix at time of being painted.
Said this to Audi, they still refused saying it was a stone chip.

Good luck with your case and stand firm, you may get lucky and they may repaint your roof

Thanks - it's suddenly appeared in 4 patches so difficult to argue it's 4 stone chips although they will likley say it's jet wash damage.......
