So can someone enlighten me on this WLTP stuff which is coming in for new cars from 1st September.

Does it mean there’s going to be some fantastic deals on new cars registered pre 1st September so that these cars don’t have to be destroyed or is that all a myth?

But what happens to cars at port now ready for new plate but no compliant with new regs? Do they all get registered pre Sept 1st?

It's just a new way of working out predicted fuel consumption for advertising purposes, should give "real world" figures instead of the current fictitious fuel consumption that nobody can get near in real life.
So, I think it is not likely to result in any bargains at the dealers, or new cars being crushed!
