Thanks for the details Danny_Boom. You mention a slightly different part number to what the photos show, they show 04L 145 049 F.

I have a late 2014 A6 C7 2.0 tdi ultra with same flashing glow plug light and error code P0236 on canbus reader, with limp home power reduction and start-stop disabled.

Any way to cross reference the part numbers?

    Thanks,

    Pete

Ok, so quick call to TPS and part 045L 906 051 K is just sensor (49.35 GBP + vat = 59.22), 045L 145 049 F is sensor plus hose plus bracket (62.83 GBP + vat).

Sensor ordered and fingers crossed it cures it (cheaper and quicker than going for a diagnostic at audi dealer).

Will update next week when fitted.

    Hey! CNHA engine owner here!
Had the same issue as you guys did, replaced the sensor with a genuine one. That was last year. The problem reappeared this year aswell. The weird thing i noticed is that the bracket witch holds the sensor in place, gets extremley hot while driving and it might ,,overcook" the circuits.
From what i m seeing, this is a common issue, maybe a factory flaw.
If you guys have new info on this pls share!

    Hi,
Sorry to revive an old thread but I am stuck. I can do 30 miles daily with no issues whatsoever but as soon as I take it for a longer run 100 miles i get limp mode. The code is Turbocharger/Supercharger Boost Control "A" Module Performance boost pressure intermittent P00AF00.

I think it might be what has been discussed as this is the last thing to try but I can’t find the specific part number. I have an a6 c7 2013 177bhp p.s have replaced the actuator and actuator solenoid. Any help is appreciated!

    Thanks

My experience over the last few weeks. 2014 ultra 2.0 A6 on 114k miles.

Glow plug lymp mode started coming on randomly, restart car and clears.
    Took to independent garage.
Diagnosed actuator fault. Actuator avail from TPS.

Waited for part and continued to drive car (this is the issue)

Had part replaced, boost pressure control module then flagged up. Changed this.

Actuator set up, same issue. Lots of soot in turbo, dpf light came on. I'm now looking for a new turbo.

Lots of short journeys couples with driving it with fault = expensive repair work.
