Allroad C5 2003 vague wandering steering

Febi list the later 2004> 21mm joint strut link equivalent to 4Z7 407 151 G under their number 36955 but they don't list the early link with the 24.5mm joint but they don't list the 4Z7 407 693 D wishbone lower link. Lemforder, TRW and Optimal amongst other list the early lower links but I don't trust some listings. Febi also don't list the wishbone links 4Z7 407 693/4 D but the others do.

Hmmmm So , no one actually does a complete kit that can be trusted to be correct and complete for the car .
Im assuming then that I wiould need to strip it down before ordering all the parts and I wanted to order them upfront as I’m intending to rent a ramp to carry out the work.
maybe I need to revert back to kerb side engineering and get the timber blocks out again .

PM me your VIN and I will see if that helps, also you could look at the hub carriers to see if they are 4Z7 407 257/258 F or 4Z0 407 253/254 H, this is cast into the long neck.
