    Hi
I joined 2015 and have never had to post a query yet as up to now I have been able to get all the information I have needed from the relevant forums. I am involved with 3 Audi's all belonging to close relatives and I try to help out as being retired I have more time to sift through for information and so on.

A problem has emerged for which I cannot find information in the forums. I have been trying to post a query relating to this but have completely failed so far perhaps I needed to post this initial entry first?

Car is Audi A3 2009 2.0 Tdi 0wned by my daughter fully up to date S/H. Suffered heavy deer strike. Insurer rebuilt front end including new aircon condensor which was badly mashed, but aircon apparently not work after repair, fault code indicated electrical fault inside compressor. Insurer claims electrical faults not covered under insurance and are asking for an extra £500 to return the car to its pre damage condition. The insurer claims the compressor was not working before the accident however there are witnesses to confirm it was working. I am just seeking more information on electrical failures in A3 compressors. The bit that apparenlty failed is a pressure regulator switch which is bonded on to the compressor body. Does anyone have any experience of these..?
