Audi Connect: unable to send Location to Q7 from Google Maps

Hi all
I regularly send location to Q7 navigation from Google Maps, but since about 2 weeks ago this has failed with the following message in google map. We were unable to send this destination. Please try again.

I can send the location to other phones, etc no problem, Other connectivity to the Q7 from phone & PC appear to be working OK: e.g. remote locking, start charging etc I suspect a server error in Audi

Does this work for others?

You can try to send location with myAudi, it is the tab before Google map location on myAudi Audi Connect page. I use this option and 3 weeks ago it worked.

Just tried and can't do it either to my A7, this message: "We were unable to send this destination. Please try again."

Works fine to my phone.

I’ve noticed odd functionality where on the web versions of google maps you can send a location straight to the car, but on the mobile app version you have to do a share to the MMI app now. And sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t. I did get that error a couple of weeks ago too but it went away.

Just tried with the Goole Maps app. If I try to share a place, say a hospital to MMI Connect it states "The address could not be found". To MyAudi it states "Sharing Failed. The address could not be found". Unless I'm doing something wrong but it does it with any address not already in the Audi apps. This is all a bit rubbish really.

OK I could create new location with myAudi. I have not try the car yet to retrive the location.

Here is the screen in Hungarian but the icons should be same:

Maybe try and remove then re-register your car on myAudi?

Exactly the same for me and my Q7. I tried deleting and renaming the car and my account name, which has sometime fixed things in the past. But this time I'm not getting anywhere.
