    Hello,
I still have same problem with DPF.
Are you able to help me ??? Take the DPF out send it to clean it put it back reset the differential pressure sensor. If we take out DPF i want to clean also the turbo.
    Where are you based ???
How long it will take for DPF and turbo cleaning ???
I have an original differential pressure sensor.
    Thank you.

If I understand, you've taken the DPF out and cleaned it already, and also changed the sensor?

My money is on the EGR COOLER then. Perhaps change it.

I am having a similar debacle with my 151 A6 ultra 60k miles as described here. Had car 2 days and got a check engine light. Dpf sensor replaced, light again a week later, then a NOX sensor, another week passes and light reappears, dpf is removed and cleaned. Another few weeks after this CEL on again, car gets sent to an Audi specialist and they replace the EGR cooler. 2 days later the light appears again. I keep getting the p2002 code. Car is driving fine although mileage is not great 37k average. At my wits end at this stage. DPF replacement isn't covered under my warranty so would like to avoid this.

Anyone have any suggestions of what I should do now? Thinking of bringing to an audi garage at my own cost any maybe there expertise can uncover something the warranty mechanic couldn't.

Most garages including Audi do not know how to solve this problem. So do not assume a dealer would know more than an independent.
In my case the DPF was removed and sent off to be professionally cleaned. The EGR cooler also replaced. I will double check the invoice to see if the DPF was later replaced, but I don't think it was. The car was in and out of various garages who couldn't put their finger on the problem.
The problem with going from garage to garages is, the new one will want to start all over from scratch and replace parts the previous garage replaced. Its annoying but understandable.
One thing is for sure, any EGR or DPF replacements at this kind of mileage is not on and definitely not normal. They will probably blame your driving habits though.
This is for sure a world wide problem with this model car! Someone needs to put their foot down with Audi and get them to admit to this known problem.

I know I feel totally cheated by Audi to be honest. Never imagined I would have these issues with a car of this cost, age and mileage. My previous car was a 2013 A4 TDI, which i put 40k + miles on and it never gave me any trouble.

Out of interest was the issue with you car rectified in the end? Mine is currently in with a highly recommended independent dealer, he has had the car over a week now but is confident he can recalibrate the sensors to eradicate the issue. They originally thought the DPF was bust and would need to be replaced/deleted when I brought it in and explained the issues i was having but when they plugged the car in the DPF appeared to be fine.

It has been rectified and had no issues for 6 months. I say no issues, the EML did come on once, and it did show one of the codes related to this issues (p2002 I think I cannot remember). But after clearing it a month ago, its been ok. TBH, im not comfortable driving this car anymore knowing this common issue.

Calibrating the sensor is easy and is a 2 minute job with VCDS. I did that myself. That will not solve your issue. Also with this issue, the DPF does appear to be fine on the diagnostics. Soot level low, DPF auto regenerating on time and regularly..etc. This is why garages are stumped. Its a weird one.

I think the garage need to change that DPF or send it for a proper professional cleaning in your case. Since you've had the egr replaced already.

Did you get sorted? Interested to find out how you got on.

I'm the same boat with a 152 A6. Audi have diagnosed egr cooler as issue. Have it 2 days.

    Hello guys!

Had the same problem with my old audi a6 CNHA engine.

The problem is the EGR + cooler. Changed then and the problem disappeared. Had to do this operation every 60k miles though.. I’ve done this 3 times on that car..

So basically the problem can be either on the sensor situated on the EGR valve or the cooler gets stuck with adblue and other things..

Anyway! Changing the EGR is a messy job and it’s quite expensive! Found a nice guy, charged me £300 labour with my own parts!

    Good luck!

    Hey mate,

I was wondering if you can help me. I have the same problem and thinking of changing the EGR and EGR cooler.

Would you have the part numbers or a rough idea how much the parts cost? Also which garage did you get this fixed at?

    Many thanks in advance.
