    Default Drive Select - Efficiency – 21-07-2018,09:13 PM
    Question for you guys who know how this works, and what the manual doesn’t explain (and perhaps a lesson for me!).

    If I put the car into efficient mode via drive select, it shows E(gear) in the virtual cockpit dial. Upon restarting the engine, I’m showing D(gear), until I select another mode and go back to efficiency then it reverts back to E. Am I missing something here or is this a fault?

    I think that happens on newer Q7's. If Mine is in Efficiency (so E in the virtual cockpit) it will always be in E when I restart the car until I take it out of Efficiency and into another mode.

    This has been discussed before I think on this forum so might be worth a search around.
