    Hi Everyone,
    Car was involved in a minor accident (~7mph into bollard) and engine shut off. The automatic lever is in park but the car is saying its in drive and preventing the engine from being switched on. I have manually moved the gearbox lever into neutral and then park again but still the car is saying place the lever into park.

    I have a VCDS report of the issue. Its saying the No Communication with Transmission Control Module? What might be causing this issue?

    Your help on the issue is much appreaciated.

    Hi looks like wiring / module damage. Is it the front that has been damaged, if so I would suspect this or something being dislodged. If you can access behind the damaged area you may well find the cause but it could be a needle in a hay stack, to find. Or maybe an impact sensor been activated and shutting stuff down. Hopefully it can be sorted without to much cost, good luck...
