Under the black cover is a in out filter.

Just clamp both hoses and replace the filter.

Ideally you need VCDS (vag com) to do the priming of the filter by doing a fuel transfer test.

The owners manual says you could prime the system by just turning over the engine this is dependant on how good the battery is.

That Sealey primer is good for filters with self sealing fittings.

The 2.0 TDI CR engine have a filter that just has hoses clamped on to the filter.

you could use to fill the filter but you will add air into the system when you disconnect the primer.

The pollen filter was a bit of a mare due to its awkward position in the footwell on your back not a comfortable position to be in so all done just one thing I could not figure out how to turn off the service due warning I tried to do it with vcds but no luck . anyone have any idea how to do it

    Start the engine
Press the CAR button to get to the service menu
From there use the bottom left button on the MMI Controller to CAR SYSTEMS
Scroll to and select SERVICE & CHECKS from the CAR SYSTEMS menu
    Select SERVICE INTERVALS
Select RESET OIL CHANGE INTERVAL and confirm
Turn off the ignition and restart to confirm reset is completed
