I moved recently from ford to VW and yes it was a very good move however I’m wondering about add-on bits. What I mean is the car I previously had, had spare wiring in for things to almost be plug and play for example my car didn’t have Bluetooth until I found some spare wiring already fitted from manufacture. All I had to do was buy a module, for it and away I went.

So I was wondering if there is anything Similar for the mk6 golf estate. Mine is a 2012 tdi sportline edition.

I’m yet to by a vcds cable to change bits but I am curious to what else can be done an not great expensive.

These are lots of systems that could be added but none are cheap. There are companies such as Hazy Dayz who specialise in retro fits.

Yeah I didn’t think VW would be cheap but I was more curious to see what can be done with relative ease without ripping everything out. I did look into retrofit but I’ll have a look at this.

    Thanks
