I have a 2003 A4 cab and the n/s/r window goes down as it should be it using the roof button/window specific button or the all windows button, but it won't come up. The only way to get it up is to open the roof fully and then close the roof holding the button untill all windows come up? Am scratching my head with this one as the motor and regulator must be working. Just add that when I try and get windows up using the all windows button nothing happens with any window. Please help.

If nothing happens with any window, using the all window switch, maybe the switch has an issue.
These kind of faults can upset the cycle in all weird ways.
Can you plug the switch to another source.
Maybe there is a relay playing around

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately I have no way of testing it. Thought it must be linked to the fact that the window specific switch won't bring up the rear window hence the all windows switch won't work for any window. Think taking it out and try to clean it and see what happens.
