    Does anyone know if the above is replaceable without having to remove any of the door or its furniture, window etc ?

    i need to change mine as its damaged ,

    link to item. i notice there is some sort of slots in the metal part.

    Wow no one here knows how to change the window scraper strip!!

    I have sorted it now , with the help of another VW forum,

    Oh ,and the outer door skin does need to be removed, on a 1k1 2007 MK5 anyway, just in case someone reads this...
