Hi Roblightbody,
Is it possible to post the picture with step 1 to 6 in a better definition. The step 6 is difficult to zoom in.

Hi,

Those are the size of the images that Alpine Support sent me to work with.

I just crossed the terminals in the blue block (I used a paper-clip to start with as a test!) and the car's built in microphone immediately started to work. I'm not sure what step 6 refers too.

I also mention in an earlier post that my unit didn't dim properly - however a replacement sensor sent from Alpine support has resolved that - however important to note that it dims purely based on ambient light levels inside the car, not whether the vehicle's lights are on or not.

I'd encourage you to contact Alpine support - its an expensive unit, and they're a good technical team, they were very helpful to me. They may also have better instructions now - its nearly 2 years since I did mine.

Incidentally I'm still very happy with it, but now have a dilemma... I'm getting ready to sell the car and replace it with a newer GTI - however you can't match what the i902D does, unless you get a mk7.5 model - and then I have to decide whether to leave this unit in my car when I sell it, or reinstall the original CD player.

hello, does anyone know why the x903d-g6 when I press navigation it starts to load and stays at more than half the time it restarts and tries to load again and so on all the time
