    Hi all,

Can anyone help me please? My 2012 A5 was asking for oil the other day, and shortly after I put half a litre in the EML came on. I've since downloaded and run Carly on the car and it comes up clean, no diagnostic errors or messages at all. I can only think the oil level changing has triggered the EML for some reason, so how do I reset it?

If there's something else, why doesn't Carly spot it?

    Many thanks in advance,

    Cheers,

    Jonathan

If the eml is on there will be a code logged, most likely your diagnostic app is not picking it up. Try and find someone with vcds or a decent obdII scanner.

Generic readers only pick up OBD II codes and the fault may not be an OBD one.
