    Can anyone help?
    Leon 2.0 TDI suddenly stopped.
There is no voltage to fuel pump. Relay operates ok, pump will work with independent supply but vehicle still does not start.
Question - from relay to pump, is there a connector. If there is where is it located. This would seem to be a simple solution, as my local independent VW guy seems to think there is no link to ecu.
Next question - is it linked to ecu? VW guy could be wrong.
I am ex vw trained technician, just that I am out of touch and do not have any wiring diagrams.
Can someone out there offer any guidelines?
If I fix it, will post answers to help others.

Hi, did you sort this? I'm having a very similar issue with mine. No fault codes coming up. Car will run if pump wired direct to 12v. Will run for a while when connected back up properly but will cut out under deceleration.

Following use of VCDs this showed the same error code as my cheapo eBay tool. What we found was a faulty fuse for a circuit which served the relay for pump. When replaced all was OK. We still don't have a clue what caused the failure as no history of faults was displayed. If yours is cutting out on deceleration, this sounds like a fault related to either the throttle potentiometer or a wiring fault. Difficult to say if there are no codes. I would be looking for obvious breaks (open circuit) on all connectors/harness around the engine area.
    Hope this will help.
