    Good day all

many thanks for all the info, however whatever I try , i cannot get the mirror to tilt when reverse is selected. I’ll flag it up to audi at the next service and see what they say. In the meantime if anyone has further insight i’d be grateful. I’ve tried both keys and same on each. Can’t think of anything else to try.

    all the best

    Hi,

Mine was definitely not enabled by default but is an option with VCDS or another tool, I used Carista for mine and made the changes in a few minutes, can see the sample customisations here:

    Audi A6 / S6 / RS6 C7 | Carista OBD2 supported vehicles | See what’s available for your car - Carista

Audi will be able to do it but it's whether they charge the hourly rate to do the coding which may be more than a cost of the tool. In terms of the keys I don't believe it's specific to the key used but works when mirror switch is on passenger mirror and the car is put into reverse.

    Hope this helps

Hi correct, nothing to do with the key, as long as the function is enabled then it is only the position of the mirror switch that turns ot on or off. As an aside, LHD must tilt the right mirror, so could you code the car to tilt both eigther sepreatley or at the same time. Can think of situations where both tilted would assist in reversing. Any good luck getting it sorted...
