I have a black edition, BiTDI and i recently replaced by wheels with staggered 20" Veeman Fs-25 setup because my wheels were buckled beyond balancing. I feel the car sits a little too high so would like to explore the possibility of lower her a little.

I have been advised to go for Eibach; is this good advice? is it literally just the springs that are replaced or the full shock absorber? excuse my ignorance.

what lowering options are available and recommended? don’t want it to be ridiculously low, but lower than and meaner than it currently is. advice gratefully appreciated.

I have the Eibachs fitted to my Bitdi as well and they are great. No harshness and still very compliant. You still get a small amount of rub on the odd severe camber in the road but its rare. Just the springs are fitted and original shocks. Looks about just right imho and not the slammed look. Just a small amount of gap between arch and tyre

Is that the sport line or performance? Noticed there seemed to be two model types?

Worth checking what suspension is currently fitted too. This might help:

I went for KW variant 1 ( when it arrives). I'll put some before and after photos on during install. I also got a free 4 wheel alignment included from revolution motorsport in Newcastle.

I had to change both front springs in the last 2 months due to snapped springs, took about 4 hours a side to change them on my driveway. Are you changing the springs yourself or having a garage do it?

BTW rears will take you less than an hour to do.
