MK6 3 door drivers window

Hi all,

I purchased a used 09 RHD MK6 TDI 3 door yesterday. The drivers electric window switch does not work. The passenger window works on the drivers side switch. The switch panel does illuminate. If I press and hold the open button on the key, both windows lower fine, and if I press on hold the lock button on the key both windows raise fine! The window switch itself appears to be good, it does feel bad or sound bad. I have checked the loom in the door shut as best as possible.

Any suggestions out there to fix it?

Check all fuses.

You need to get your motor scanned (preferably with VAG-COM\VCDS) for any error codes logged in the ecu and post them, that will save a lot of guessing and check systems out.
