I am getting my son's camper ready for MOT but had a problem with the ignition lock so removed it to clean.
The ignition lock now works fine but the SRS warning light now flashes (it didn't before).
    This vehicle has no airbags.
Any clue as to what has happened or what I can look at?
    Thanks

I have tried hooking up my scanner (Maxi Scan MS300) but although protocol is recognised (ISO9141) it fails to establish a link.

Since there are no airbags I will remove th SRS lamp from the instrument cluster.
