    Hello,
    What temperature does the diesel preheat valve normally operate at as i think one in my Tdi is stuck shut as g81 temp alarm on and filter very hot.

    disconnect the fuel temp sender unit


    it will revert to default setting, but allow you to get another one
    VW POLO 2002 1.2 12v , Audi A6 2006 2.0 TDi SE , Skoda Fabia 1.4 TDi

    I would say a good point to start with, is ensuring the filter is plumbed correctly
