as some of you may know my car was off the road for a while including the ecu being in germany for 4 weeks..
    ASB engine quattro
When i got it back it definitely felt better with a stronger pull so much so that i checked pre and post software versions but all the same - i was driving small cars while it was away and i assumed it was down to a system reset being unplugged for so long.
now before it stopped working the tyres were getting thin and i was enjoying the round abouts - throw it in kick it out sort of thing ( my personal one in my long driveway) I go *** down to a fine balance where the traction control didnt kick in - sometimes flickered but didn't intervene. but now the power is more progressive and i have not been able to kick it out only the occasional push of the nose. and I do have new rubber on.

so the question is, is it the rubber? has my torque curve changed?

I would be interested to hear from others to see how you depicted the torque? enough to throw the tail or more progressive.

    thanks.

Very likley the ECU reset. Mine feels different if I reset the throttle / tiptronic by holding down the accelerator with the ignition on ( engine off) for 30 seconds.
