    Hello,

I have a problem with clutch, last month had problem / juddering during taking off in first gear.

    I have bought LuK set:

I am waiting now for pilot bearing (bearing inside the crankshaft) to arrive and start replacing the set.

    My questions are:

    - do I need to replace oil in my gearbox? If positive, please advise what kind of oil?
    - as I did not get any bolts with this LuK set do I need to buy any and if so which one and if you have part numbers

The car is Audi A6 2.0 TDI, 2011, CAGB engine 100kw, manual gearbox code JWS, 217300km on clock.

I have the same CAGB/JWS configuration and I did the a gearbox oil change about 2 services ago which was only 8 months ago for me.

It does make a big difference on the smoothness of the box and gear changes.

I used OEM oil as you only change this oil around every 100,00 miles.

    Thanks Dan and Gazwould,

I am searching on net to find which oil is suitable. On service manual is written that oil does not need to be changed,it is for lifetime. I found on net that oil should comply to VAG standard G 052 911 A2. Oils which comply to that standard are either GL4 or GL5, or viscosity are 75W-90 or 75W-80, some full synthetic some semi synthetic. So, I am confused completely, the best thing is to buy original but it is very expensive. I called Skoda dealer and they asked for G 052 911 A2 37 Euro per liter (3 liters required for gearbox). I suppose that Audi dealer is more expensive and they will not tell me which oil is for my car unless I bought it at their shop.

    Thanks guys,

I have spoke this morning with my indy and he told me that I need new bolts and that he is suprised that bolts did not arrived with new stuff.
He said that we will check oil when we start job and if it is missing or oil is not so good (by color I suppose) we will change it.

Uh, I will be present all the time when we change clutch set and dualmass flywheel. I can insist to change oil. Only that, I am afraid when we change oil that will be no as good as original and if there will be some problem later on I will not be sure if it is caused by clutch, flywheel or gearbox oil.
