Hi I have a 2004 A6 Avant Final Edition auto, which suddenly experienced power loss this week. Engine management
light came on. Foot flat down but could hardly get above 30. Since then it has got a bit better then got worse again. I took it to my local guy who looks after my car. He has some basic diagnostic equipment and found three errors - P2102, P0243 and P0489. He did not know and couldn’t figure out what the issue was and suggested I went to a specialist. He has unplugged the EGR valve (?) and since then it is running better but still not right.

The car has done 160,000, but I love it! Can anyone shed any light on what this may be, based on these codes or symptoms? I’m really not an expert on cars or engines, so be gentle. I have found a local specialist who will charge £70 plus VAT to try and figure it out. Not sure if I should spend this. If the gearbox is on its way out then I guess it’s had its day. Any help welcome. Thank you

P2102 Throttle Actuator 'A' Control Motor Circuit Low - Throttle actuator control motor circuit fault.

P0243 AUDI Turbo/Super Charger Wastegate Solenoid 'A' - Turbocharger wastegate solenoid fault.

P0489 AUDI Exhaust Gas Recirculation Throttle Control Circuit 'A' Circuit Low - EGR throttle control circuit fault.

    Could be the N75 valve.
