OK, so recent upgrade from my trusty 2002 TDI Sport Estate to a B7 2.0TDI 2014 Estate.
Quite an impressive upgrade, but njo front or rear washers....no pump sound.
I have googled and heard of column stalk or BCM possibly, but before returning to dealer want to check the fuses...any idea which fuse.
I've googled a lot and I think it's fuse 40 in the front left dash fuseboard, but that says washer pump and rear wiper - my wiper works.
    Any help would be appreciated.

I would return to dealer if you have only just bought it as this would be considered an MOT fail.

I have seen quite a few pumps fail and also the pump wire rub through on the point of a bumper bracket mounting bolt.

OK, so an update on this issue:
Dealer had the car for 2 days, checked all the wiring, the pump etc etc, said it was looking like a "control unit" problem.
Gave the "control unit" a re-start, and hey presto, everything working!
Dealer was unsure of the cause or the issue, but decided not to charge me as a goodwill measure as they weren't sure of the fix - well done Martins of Farnham.
    I'm just hoping it's a permanent fix....
