    hi there

after 10 days of being parked, my car didn't wanna start.
    battery was drained

has anyone replaced the battery on their 63 plate C7 A6 2.0 177CP audi?

is there a special procedure you have to do to replace it?

what type of battery do i need? i went online and this is what i came up with:

    https://www.eurocarparts.com/ecp/c/Audi_A6_2.0_2014/p/car-parts/car-electrics-and-car-lighting/electrical/car-battery/?444779030&1&896d7324226259817447075a5bff9015bae90 7ce&000020
    for 208 pounds

do you know of a better deal?

    thanks for all your time

It is supposed to be coded to the car, ignore the lure of the “deal” and get it done properly. Ohh the genuine equivalent of that ECP battery is £154.78 inc VAT....

This is interesting as I have the same age Car as yourself. I presume your battery was faulty.... as I am expecting my battery to last a lot longer than c5years?

I realise everyone’s usage is different etc... as my car has been parked up for 2 weeks at a time on a number of occasions...and has shown no ill effects/problems etc? (Don’t suppose it just needs a good charge?)

Good key info from Crasher... to get any new battery professionally coded etc...as I must admit... I considered that when the time comes for me to replace.. I would have swapped it out myself with a replacement from Costco ... Good info...thumbs up...
