Hi over past few months all the electronics in my car turn off. When this happens the remote doesn’t work, radio off, no dashboard lights, no trip comp, no interior lights, absolutely nothing. Sometimes I can hear a clicking sound coming from then dash / steering column area. Then around half an hour later I can put the key in and start and everything is back to normal like nothing happened. Also trip computer is dim. Cleared 27 faults and these 5 returned:

    Power steering:
    00778 - Steering Angle Sensor (G85)

    Body/convenience system:
    01135 - Interior Monitoring Sensors
    00323 - Vehicle Inclination Sensor (G384)
    01134 - Alarm Horn (H12)

    Auxiliary heater:
00361 - Heating element for additional heating system (Z35)

    Thanks

Hi Crasher, It’s only about a year old, I’m going to try a friends battery on it and see what happens.

Te code read you posted isn’t VCDS and so doesn’t tell us a huge amount about what is going on, using VCDS in measuring blocks for each controller you would be able to see the individual controller voltages but with the battery being known to be good you now need to start looking for corroded earth terminals on the nearside front inner wing below the headlight and there is the possibility of water in the engine bay fuse box although this a bit of a sketch to remove and check.
