Whilst I had backed up the settings, with OBDEleven you are limited by what is available. It doesn't give you the full data dump like VCDS would do.

I had tried everything I could possibly think of plus whatever I could find online but had no luck.

The car is still with my local Audi whilst they await a response from what I would simplify as their "third line technical support". I have been taking my cars to them for years (this is my second A6) and they have a good team, so I would be surprised (and disappointed) if it was actually that straight forward.

Whilst I'm a techie person, I'm out of my depth when it comes to this, so if you guys have any suggestions, I'm more than happy to go back to them with suggestions :-)

If you can see the module all is not lost. If you did a scan before you started mucking about then just put the same codes back. Otherwise see if you can find someone with coding from their car and use that as your starting point, then maybe take to dealers and get them to do all the learning bits.
The car has been with Audi for a couple of days now and they have been trying to sort it.

Apologies, I forgot to post an update. After Audi couldn't sort it (hey had restored all the adaptations but the fault wasn't clearing) I popped down to see what I had changed with OBDEleven whilst desperately trying to fix my own **** up.

I noticed that the "Activate_deactivate_constant_current" was ACTIVE which I don't recall it being before. As soon as disabled that, the Air Suspension fault disappeared and everything looked good.

Been driving the car for a few weeks now and I've had this feeling that something wasn't quite right with the suspension. Managed to figure out yesterday that whilst everything is being reported as fine, the suspension only seems to raise/lower when I active/deactivate the lift function. Previously it used to lower if I put the Drive Select into Dynamic mode (I recall showing people by changing the setting whilst parked and having the engine running) and raise itself if I set it to Automatic or Comfort.

Has anyone else had any experiences with the Drive Select modes no longer having any affect on the Adaptive Air Suspension?
