As per the title. "Our" spec oil cheaper then anywhere else (not by much, but good if you have it local to you).

So the link you provided shows 4*5L of oil for the price...
Even if you eventually received the order, it would probably be used cooking oil inside...

I think you will find it would be highly unlikely for this
    Volkswagen dealership
    to sell cooking oil.

Actually - my first assumption was correct. Check the negative reviews for them in the last six months: more than few people never received the named oil...

In any case, thanks for pointing out the alternatives.

To be fair, only 8 people out of over 800 complained. One obviously hit the wrong button, as he said he was a happy customer, and only two said they didn't get the oil.

I think that less than 1% is a reasonable level of complaints for a large organisation.

Do you work for, or own one that is perfect?

    LOL
I neither work for nor own a "perfect" business.
But when somebody is offering 20L of oil for £30 then I find that strange...

I took the 4x 5 litres to be a mistake. If you click on "more details" the ad. is for only one 5 litre container.

I'll retract my "cooking oil" comment in that case. That was just insanely good deal to be true... @sacha35 credits for the post as I based my responses on the original item description.

On a slightly different topic, what would be the difference between the "normal" Castrol Edge (as sold by Costco) and the "Professional" one?

Having 'Professional' on the bottle makes you at least feel like you know what you're doing as you pour it down the side of the engine, all over your feet and the driveway.
