Tuning an S3

Currently own a 2003 A4 cab 3.0, and deciding between either an S4 3.0, or an S3 (2009/2010 model). what are they like for tuning please guys? Whats the first few mods and what sort of power is achievable, reliably?

The S4 is more involved as it means changing the supercharger pulley which is not easy or without risk, the S3 is turboed so initially it’s just a remap.

S3 Stage 1 remap = 310bhp ish
Stage 2+ remap = 370hp 550NM (mine was this and an absolute rocket)

For stage 2+ you need

HPFP upgrade
RS4 fuel return valve
Intake kit
Full exhaust
Uprated clutch (if manual)

The tfsi engines on the S3 are easily tuned and well researched - torque machines!
