    Afternoon all.
My 2001 MK 1.6 (AZD) just failed its MOT on High CO. (0.9 on every test)
It has had The Emissions light come on a few times, but when I got a vcds cable and ran VCDS lite it shows no errors. I have a new air filter on the way and had brought a Lambda sensor, but the sensor has the wrong connector on it so I need to send it back and get it swapped over. I have been told it could be the cat, but I really can't afford to get a new one, so I need some advice on what direction I should be looking at in order to get this sorted.
Any advice that isn't going to cost me a fortune would be good. I can't do much with it today as the battery has packed out, but I have a new one of then turning up tomorrow.

    Im following this with interest.

As my BKD engine just went through an MOT emissions test last month with no problems at all. BUT... we tested it afterwards to the now current test and it failed. Nothing changed.
