    Hi all,

Just a very quick one. I have a BRD engine with a suspected Rocker Arm bearing failure (Roller bearing needles in the oil pump filter) looking at the head I can see the retaining plate for the camshafts splits at the cylinder head. But can the camshafts be removed without removing the head bolts? and the rocker arms?

The rocker arm bolts go down into the head bolts which have an M8 hole in the middle for the rocker arm bolts N 105 811 01 which are one time only and must be replaced. If you don't have access to a T10262, I suggest you do not remove the cams.
