    Hello there people..
My car abs light came on..the dash lights started to flicker as i turned on my lights.
My radio started to turn on and off..i realised my battery wasnt getting charged..
Later my handbrake light started to flash and my speedometer and rev froze..my car began to jerk through gears..i switched the car off, but it didnt want to start again..as battery was completly drained.
However i went through alot of puddles at high speeds..has this caused the issue..or do i need a new alternator.?
The one thing that didnt show on my dash light, was my battery light..as i was losing battery power..i rev my car and my lights were going dim, instead of brightning up.
    Please help

The battery light must come on with the ignition and then go off after the engine is started. If it doesn’t then a common problem is the blue wire from the alternator breaking in the harness from the transmission to the body.
