Yesterday while driving our Seat Alhambra 2015 model we suddenly saw a warning on the dash about the temperature reaching it's highest - temperature gauge went to nearly 130 degrees (in the red zone).
This has never happened again, and we've been driving all over Europe as well as long and short trips in UK.
We've stopped the car and waited until the engine has cooled down, then started driving again and for about a minute temperature started raising just a bit over the half of the scale, then went back to just half and stayed that way.

It was really worrying as car was serviced the way it should (it's on the long service ~ every 18 months) and last service was just done in July last year.
I've checked the cooler level, which is the first thing they recommend in the manual, but it wasn't all good (see attached image).

I called Seat road assistance and was surprised that even though we do full service at the franchise, we are not covered on the car older than 2 years (all previous cars we had were adding road assistance as standard on each service).

Any idea what might have caused it? Car is still on the warranty until the end of this year so I'm thinking about taking it for a check, although I have a feeling all I get is that they cannot identify the issue - happened before with some other things.
We have some long trips scheduled and last thing I want is the car that will let me down half way through the journey so really need it resolved so any help / suggestions would be much appreciated.

    1300 degrees?
Did the engine appear hot? ie steam, hot smell etc or just a warning light?
It could be serious so i wouldn't think about getting it checked. DO get it checked.

Sorry - it was 130 (typo) - engine was really hot when I opened a bonnet. There was no smoke, but there certainly was something not quite right.
The following day my wife driven over 100 km and no issue, but will take it to the garage and ask them to check.
