AFAIK the allroad never had the multitronic. It is either stronic (in 204 and 245) or tiptronic (in BiTDi).

The tip tronic is a good old fashion torque converter slush box. Just a modern one that’s quicker and more responsive.

The tiptronic used in the BiTdi is a ZF 8HP autobox and if you look at the applications for it you’ll see you’re in good company. It’s a fantastic box imho.

TBH thats what I want her to get as Im always suspicous of any of the wet/dry plate ecu controlled clutches/gearboxes, I see enough expensive issues on the trucks.

But the ZF8 torque converter tiptronic gearbox is ONLY available in the BiTdi derivative - too much torque for the s-Tronic DSG dual clutch box.
The two single turbo V6 diesels get the s-Tronic.
A6 allroad BiTdi (MY14, July 2013 - DAB & power tailgate). Glacier white, tech pack (HDD Nav, colour DIS, Parking Plus), sports seats, 4 zone climate, heated seats front and rear, ambient lighting, 75L fuel tank, adaptive Bi Xenon headlights

Nope. My October 2013 Avant SE has 17” rims. Odd but true. However, I do have adaptive cruise, blind spot monitoring, comfort seats, Bose, full sun roof, adaptive lights, auto dip, tow kit, lane assist and a few other things I can’t remember. An Audi salesperson called it a ‘unique’ spec which could only be replaced if I bought a new one. Fab for towing my caravan to Europe though
