I’m thinking of getting a remap on my 2.0tdi
It’s currently 143 bhp. I’m told I’d get 175/180 bhp with a remap and slightly better economy.
Will this affect the auto box or shorten it’s life?

I think that if you make hard accelerations each time you drive the car your dualmass flywheel will die soon...

Is there a dual mass on the motor side of an auto box?
Thought it was manual only but could be wrong?

My engine code is cagb. Is there more power upgrades available for that engine besides the remap.

My is same, CAGB 100kw (136 HP), only manual gearbox. I was thinking about remap when I bought it 3 years ago, but I have give up and get used on that power, for me it is OK. I would preffer a little bit more on highway but only on German highway as there I am doing 160-180 km/h and there you can feel less power when you pass 160 km/h and need to overpass somebody. But, as I am going there only once per year, I can live without remap. From other side, as everything is working without any issue (engine, turbo, injections, DPF), I would preffer to remain like that and not to ruin something with remap until I need to do some repairment I will not touch anything. I am enjoying the car

If the CAGB has the 77mm oil pump drive it needs a modified re-enginnered 100mm kit .

Thanks. Something to think about before a remap.
    Also on the oil pump,thanks.
How do I know if it’s in trouble?
Is it a big job to fit?
