My 2017 S5 Sportback has intermittent squealing brakes, any solutions or should I take back to the dealers?

Remove pads and clean, replace and apply copper grease on backs and locators (or pins). It's normally pads not sliding back and forth parallel. I'm not sure that dealer would do that under warranty, you could try them though. Nowt wrong with asking.

Cheers for that A6ian - Off to the dealers it is, unless Squealing Brakes is listed in the Spec, they'd better sort it.

Never use copper grease, this is now very frowned upon in the trade due to electolyitic corrosion problems so for years we have used Wurth alluminimum paste BUT we are considering moving to the new breed of ceramic pastes that are now commonly available such as Padgid Cera Tec.

Update, after some "discussions" with the dealer, they replaced the front discs and pads (foc) as they were corroded and pitted!!!

    I now have quiet brakes.
