Stop Start not working

My Stop Start has't done it's thing for over a week now. I've done plenty of long journeys so not a DPF regen issue (that seems to disable it for a while) and nice and warm weather so temperature not a factor.

Same in all Drive Select modes so I don't think that's a factor.

It shows the A with a circle on the DIS with a line through it when I am stopped and in neutral, like it would do if too cold to operate.

Any ideas? Service due in a few weeks so I can get them to look at it then, but curious as to what it could be.

If your cabin temp is not near what you have it set at then it wont activate start stop. If not that then it may be worth getting the car scanned for any error codes.

I have noticed a little trick that works. Disable the stop start with the button while the engine is running, switch the engine off then on and then go for a quick drive

That worked! Thanks - for some reason it came back on the journey after the one I was expecting but all good now.

I'd quire happily have my stop-start permanently disabled.

Found the problem! One of the kids had turned the air con in the back to 16 degrees and it was blowing so hard it was keeping the engine running to compensate. I only realised when I heard the fan.

Use the sync button. Overrides the back.
My little monkey does it all the time.
Other option is use the mmi and change the back air con controls.

I had no idea that button existed, thank you! I'm sure on my C6 you pushed in the rotary temperature control and that did a one off sync. I guess now I have the 4 zone system it us different.
