Who is oem , please don't tell me they've stuck with French Valeo that have been failing for the last 20 years or more .

OK - so nothing is straight forward on these darn things!
Attached for info / interest is a picture of the leaky wiper motor, not a pretty sight, but at least that is now sorted.
Tailgate latch problem is still not resolved though - the dealer can't find the cause, after having the vehicle for 3 days.
They tell me they have changed "the 2 motors" and made no difference. When I queried about the control unit they tell me it is part of the motor, and they come in pairs. Sounds odd to me.
I now have the car back and am supposed to arrange to have it booked in again for further investigation. This has been around 7 or 8 months already so I think that I'll hold off until the next service & MOT later this year just to reduce the hassle of having a loaner.
In the meantime I shall start another thread just on this problem and see if anyone can advise.
