    DEar All
    After the battery gone flat jump start the car since then not able to shift the gear stick from Parking. Changed the brake switch and after 4 days the fault came back again. I cleared it with VCDS but coming back after few days.

    Is it the ECU plying up or the battery gone south I do not have a clue?

    can anybody help me please I do not want to stuck middle of the motorway?

    Why did you change the brake switch? You have the steering angle sensor at intermitent error. You can try to adapt the sensor, maybe it’s a misscomunication with it since it’s intermitent.

    You have a knackered glow plug, and the wiring to the clockspring (steering wheel) needs to be checked as it showing a intermittant break in the supply wire (this could be a break in the clockspring).

    The
    Gear Recognition Signal fault could be down to the gear lever fault as s in the other post.

    You must keep the topic in the one post to prevent the wrong info being given out when you open multiple posts for the same problem, as the true details can be missed.
