    Default Child lock fault - offside activates when unlocking – 11-05-2018,09:18 PM
    Hi all,

    Bit of a weird one. When I unlock my A6 the offside rear childlock activates preventing the rear passenger opening the door from the inside. I have to press the childlock button for the right door for it to unlock. I'm getting a 'child lock fault' on the dashboard and 2 codes. B2131 child safety lock motor & B1482 motors for central locking.

    So do you think the offside rear door lock actuator is faulty or is there another module I should look at replacing?

    Vehicle: Audi A7 C7 2012 S line

    If anyone has a similar issue it was indeed the driver's rear actuator. Managed to source one off ebay for £25 and fitting was straight forward. They certainly don't put these together like the C6..
