Hello all, just taken delivery of a facelift 2014 A7 SE Exec, having come over from a 5 series F11 it's a bit of a change for me but there are lots of similarities in tech.

I have a couple of questions...

On the colour display in between the speedo and tacho how do I set the Nav option to default, every time I get in the car I have to scroll over to nav?

I have activated and put a giffgaff sim in but the car is asking every start up for me to authorise data usage, can I default this?

I'd like to code the start stop to remember the last position, is this available through Carly or will I need VCDS, and if VCDS where is the best place for a USB lead?

Lastly the MMI shows 3 keys coded to the car, I understand one is the plastic one, which I don't have, can I code this out myself for obvious reasons?

Thanks in advance and a quick photo of the offending beast...

Great choice of car. I can't see the photo though, but I am at work.

I don't think you can set the nav as default. Someone else may prove me wrong, but on mine it always starts up on the LH menu
There is a setting in the Connection area to Never Ask regarding the data
You can use VCDS to do this. Or buy OBDEleven (no leads required - all done over bluetooth). There is a dedicated app for OBDeleven for this specific task, also to swap the light indication for the start/stop button. Download the OBDeleven app now (free on android only) and start adding credits - you can get 6 free a day. So when you gat the dongle you have planty of credit to make changes. It can do lots of other coding things too and other apps: for example needle sweep.
Audi will have to sort out the keys. My car only came with 2 keys too and I got Audi to change from 3 to 2.
From Apr 2017 - now: Oct 2016 (66) Audi A7 3.0 TDI quattro (FL - MY17), 272 ps, Black Edition (Tech pack, Parking Pack, Folding Mirrors), Mythos Black.

Thanks for the response, I'll have a look for OBDEleven and what can be done with it.
