Other symptoms are both rear wheel bearings, but I doubt this in a 3yr old vehicle and your abs light would more than likely be on too.

Front offside wheel bearing was replaced under warranty at 8k. So the warranty invoice from previous owners tells me. Hmmm

Worth a try, but they may put it down to wear and tear but definitely worth ago.

Audi, vw, seat, Skoda are well know for the issue as there all threaded pistons on the rear, always worst on the coast too with salt air etc.

Check the tyres for strange wear and bulges etc too as this could be the cause.
On a Hyundai Santa Fe I had one particular brand of tyre gave "out of balance" type vibration at certain speeds once the tyres were half worn. Balance checks etc didn't find anything wrong.

So I'm convinced beyond reasonable doubt that I do indeed have at least one, sticking caliper. I drove home tonight on my 30mile journey, only very occasionally and lightly using the brakes at the start of the journey only. Auto handbrake initiated a couple times early on too, then motorway the rest, not touching at all, used gears to slow down and eventually stop in a lay by. The front disks were cold. Offside rear luke warm to touch, nearside rear was red bloody hot! Seriously fry an egg material!

I'll Nip to Audi tomorrow and get it booked in!
