    Lights are a sealed unit mate with just a wire poking through a gromit, defo not getting in through there.

    Think I’ve finally cracked it, it seems that the problem besides the bolts being missing from the bumper bar was that the ends of the chassis rails were left open allowing water to spill into the legs then seep between the metal layers appearing to come out from the black sealant. Had to manufacture two covers for the ends from Plastic then seal them on with silicone sealer and hey presto looks good so far, all dry. The Westfalia instructions from PF Jones state that sponge should be cut and put in the holes...?IMG_0209.JPGIMG_0208.JPG

    Yes on the Westfalia kit your are provided with a couple of bits of closed cell foam that you cut and then push in around the towbar mounting. Unless your driving through water all the time though I don't see it being too much of an issue. But its worth doing as you have done so you can eliminate it.
    I would inspect periodically, hopefully its all sorted now.
