Can anyone help me in identifying why I have a recurring ECU warning lamp with a P1136 fault code? The vehicle still drives well and shows no visible signs of degraded performance. When the code is reset, it takes a week or so before it returns. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Could be a split hose somewhere?

I'd check them all first, give them a squeeze to see if there are any splits/perishing.

When was the car last serviced?

Thanks for the steer Peter, sorry it was a bit vague to the rest of you all but this is the first time I've tried something like this.

I did find a thin pipe which was badly perished and it has now been replaced and the code reset. Hopefully that's the problem sorted.

    Thanks again.
