low oil pressure warning an enigine died

low oil pressure warning came on along with no brakes no esp no abs etc engine dies coast do a stop in layby restarted k no warnings noticed battery at 11v (might not have been a good idea but didn't have advantage of internet)
got home ran vagcom got this no idea

First thing I'd do is get a decent battery and get the oil pressure tested immediately,that voltage is low and could be causing a host of spurious alarms,also check the output of the alternator see if its that or the battery.

well put me tester on battery read 11 amps per hour an battery is 80amp charged overnight got it to a better 65 aph
had starting prob before cranked3 times then died so yes think your right battery knackered not sure how I can test oil pressure but I now think battery is goosed show volts when running at 13 to just about t 14 only jus on 2 before I start

well checked again tonight 11.7 volts it started ok off tester 38amp per hour so looking like battery is goosed, when running volts are 13.78 at battery ?

Its alternator load dependent, can be 15 if electric cabin heater is on.

now wont start cranks over ok so lookin at a few forums crank sensor or fuel pump tried relay its ok asked how much to scrap it would get £1000 might be worth going that route then?

yep crank sensor not oil pump or as some dope said on another forum your turbo will be busted if no oil pressure yeah right but all seems good now
