Tried using my AC today, but it’s stopped working , done a scan and the following error has come up ,

    00256 A/C pressure temperature Sensor (G395)
    “004 No signal/communication”

Has anyone had the same error code ? Or can someone advise.

    will check fuses tomorrow-

    Many thanks

Its referring to the pressure sender 4H0959126B £66.01 They are known to go faulty across the various audi platforms. It can be replaced with the circuit still fully charged as its a self sealing valve. Only other thing it could be is a break in the wiring.

Hi morski , thx for the reply

i did some research on this yesterday and came to the same conclusion. I’ve checked the connections, all look good.
    ordered part.
any idea if the pressure sender comes with the “O” ring ? As the O ring has a different part number

part number for O ring is 7H0820896. I’m having difficulty in finding this part , so hopefully it will come with the sensor

Just get them to order the ring as he's given you the part number they shouldn't have a problem. Phone them up and tell them.

I replaced this sensor on my previous A6 C6 and bought from Audi. It came with oring on. On A6 C6 Is located behind bamper on right side of radiator. You have to remove from bamper and need spanner size 32 or 34 size.
