Hi all. Wonder if someone can help - I need to replace this sensor (one on order with touch up paint). It is located underneath the NS headlight. Now I have previously removed the bumper, headlight and wheel arch cover to deal with other jobs in the past. I am wondering if I remove the headlight (my preference) will I be able to access the sensor? OR if I remove the wheel arch cover can I do likewise? Last resort is to take off the bumper (easy too but a bit of a faf!).
As I getting on a bit, I cannot remember! Hope someone can assist this old foggie.
    Many thanks,
    John

Ideally, you would need to unbolt the bumper without disconnecting anything just support it from hanging on its weight. What I did though was just released one side and had enough space to replace the sensor. You would also need bumper off to remove headlight as there is one screw from underneath but I don't think that is necessary. Be careful with bit it clicks into as it is easy to rip off if forced too much.

Quick update, I replaced the nsf parking sensor whilst servicing the car. With the front noise insulation off you can get to this sensor from underneath - no need to remove anything else.
OSF sensor maybe an issue though as there is an atf cooler at that side (forgot to look!) on my 2.5 AKE Allroad. Also, if you have a 2.7 Engine you may have issues as there are coolers on either side! For these instances it does not look to help if you remove the headlight as you still cannot access - so bumper has to come off!
Finally, the headlight can easily be removed - the third bolt is accessible with a long reach 30torx screwdriver thru a hole in the lock carrier- you can also remove the bolt by reaching under with your hand - have done this a few times!
