Havent had chance yet - flipped the filter over, but have kept it upright and full so will try to get to that tonight.
The car does seem a bit better after the filter change, but im not counting my chickens just yet.

Interestingly the ECU light came on this morning from start showing a glow plug failure - with my previous A6 V6 engine i had 5 glowplugs out, but they didnt throw the ECU light, and it never had a problem starting, even in the cold. Are the 4 cylinder engines more sensitive to a missing glowplug? I'm presuming its actually the glowplug thats the problem and not the harness etc..? I cleared the fault and it hasnt reappeared yet, but I imagine it will at some point...

    Cheers
